You should also report abuse or neglect of vulnerable adults to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azdes.gov\/daas\/aps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adult Protective Services<\/a>. You can report abuse to APS at (877) 767-2385. You can also contact your local <a href=\"https:\/\/des.az.gov\/LTCOP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Long Term Care Ombudsman<\/a> to see if they can assist you in resolving the problem with the agency directly. If you are not satisfied with your regional long term care ombudsman, or are not sure which region to contact, you can contact the DES oversight office (602) 542-6446.<\/p>\n<h3>How do I contact a Long Term Care Ombudsman<\/h3>\n<p>The best way to reach a long term care ombudsman is to contact your local Area agency on aging. See below for links to the different regions. Also included is the best number to reach the long term care ombudsman for that region.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the regional ombudsman, every state has a <a href=\"https:\/\/des.az.gov\/LTCOP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">long term care ombudsman program administrator<\/a>.
