Can the Arizona Ombudsman Citizens’ Aide take my complaint if I am an inmate?
If you are an inmate of the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry, state law says we cannot take your complaint. If you are a federal, city, or county inmate, we can take complaints from you about subjects within our jurisdiction.
Can the Arizona Ombudsman Citizens’ Aide take my complaint on behalf of an inmate?
If you contact us on behalf of an inmate of the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry, state law says we cannot take your complaint. If you contact us on behalf of a federal, city, or county inmate, we can take complaints from you about subjects within our jurisdiction as long as you have a power of attorney for the inmate.
